1. What are the benefits of body care in the sauna?
The sauna is a particularly good place to take care of your body. The heat opens the pores better and care products can therefore work faster and more effectively. You can find out which products are suitable for taking care of your body in the sauna here:
1.1 Sauna peeling salt/sugar
Sweating cleanses the skin and removes dead skin cells more easily. Sauna peeling salt is particularly suitable for this. The peeling has the effect of making the skin receptive to the minerals and trace elements contained in the sauna salt. The circular massage movements support blood circulation and detoxification of the skin. When using the product, please ensure that the skin is slightly damp and that the salt is massaged into the body from bottom to top.
1.2 Sauna care cream
The sauna care cream is very rich in nourishing properties and is most effective when the skin is slightly sweaty. The heat in the sauna makes the skin particularly receptive to the moisturizing ingredients. It nourishes dry and stressed skin thanks to its high B vitamin content.
Apply a thin layer of cream to the skin before entering the sauna, allow it to work in the warmth or massage it in and rinse gently with water after the sauna session.
The result: The skin is velvety soft and richly cared for.
1.3 Sauna honey
Sauna honey supplies the skin with vitamins, proteins and amino acids. It is completely absorbed into the skin, leaving skin soft and relaxed. Before use, the body should first sweat and the pores should be open. After the sauna session, the honey can be washed off with water. Soap should not be used.
1.4 Sauna brushes/massage brushes
Another perfect companion for a sauna or wellness day is the sauna brush. Pleasantly soft natural bristles support your body care while in the sauna and make your skin glow, because they remove dead skin cells and cleanse your skin deep down to the pores.
Also recommended when using washing lotions or body scrubs. Put a little of your care product on the brush and brush gently and evenly. By using the brush you will need less care product.
2. Application proposal
At the beginning of your stay, you should shower thoroughly and remove any make-up or other items so that your pores are open to absorb the ingredients. To start with, we recommend that you start with the sauna peeling during a sauna infusion. This will cleanse your skin deep down to the pores and remove any dirt. After your sauna session, please shower with lukewarm water and without soap. During your next session, sweat lightly and massage your body thoroughly with the sauna honey. Since the peeling has removed the dirt from your skin, the ingredients of the honey can now be absorbed perfectly into your skin.
3. Insider tip
A visit to the sauna is also the perfect time to take care of your hair intensively. The heat opens the cuticle layer and allows the care products to penetrate the hair particularly well. Before going to the sauna, simply rinse your hair briefly and massage in the hair treatment. Then rinse thoroughly with water.
